The Defense Ministry's Crossings Authority will conduct a security exercise at the Eliyahu crossing (HaLamed-He crossing) tonight from 19:00 to 02:00. Highway 367 will face intermittent closures, and live fire and explosion sounds will be heard during the drill, according to a ministry statement.

The exercise is the latest in a series of scheduled security drills at Israeli border crossings. Earlier this week, the Defense Ministry held similar live-fire drills at the Reihan and Lachish crossings. Drivers on Highway 367 should expect intermittent closures and are advised to seek alternate routes. The drill is pre-planned and does not indicate a security incident.
