Isramco, one of the partners in the Tamar natural gas field, has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding for the export of up to 80 billion cubic meters of gas to Egypt. The deal, valued at up to $20 billion, is preliminary and subject to final agreements and regulatory approvals. The MoU marks a potential expansion of Israeli gas exports to Egypt, which already imports gas from the Tamar and Leviathan fields.
