A delegation of nine US state legislators from seven states, organized by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), visited the Binyamin region on Tuesday. The group toured the ancient Shiloh archaeological site, received a historical and archaeological briefing, and visited Psagot Winery, where they heard about the biblical and historical roots of the Jewish people in the land of Israel.
Council head Israel Gantz presented the security situation and development momentum in the area. Rep. Candice Pierucci (Utah) said she was 'impressed by the resilience and faith here, values we also need in the US.'
The visit is part of ongoing international engagement with the Binyamin region. As The Zioneer reported, Fox News commentator Mark Levin toured the area with Gantz in late June, and earlier this month PM Netanyahu met with a delegation of retired US generals and admirals from JINSA.
