Overnight: US Strikes Iran for Fourth Consecutive Night; Iran Retaliates Against Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed a roughly seven-hour wave of strikes overnight Wednesday, acting under the direction of the U.S. administration. Retaliatory strikes were also directed at targets in Kuwait and Bahrain. While the Iranian Foreign Ministry characterized the U.S. actions as 'war crimes,' the regime’s choice of targets suggests a calculated effort to pressure regional hosts of U.S. military assets while avoiding a direct escalation with Israel or the major Gulf monarchies at this stage.
