An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured in a pedestrian-vehicle incident on Rehov HaPerahim in Ashdod on Monday evening, according to a Channel 12 News report. Magen David Adom medics and paramedics provided on-scene trauma care and evacuated the child to Assuta Ashdod Hospital, conscious and with multi-system injuries. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. This is the second pedestrian-vehicle injury in Ashdod reported by The Zioneer in the past week; a 6-year-old was moderately injured by a bus in the city on June 15.
