U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Friday evening that it had completed another wave of strikes in Iran, targeting infrastructure across southern Iran. According to U.S. officials and verified reports, the strikes hit bridges in southern Iran, the Bandar Abbas railway station, Iranshahr airport, and a naval observation tower at Chabahar port, which the U.S. said was used to monitor maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian authorities reported casualties and damage to transportation infrastructure. The wave, which took place over approximately five hours (18:30–23:30 Jerusalem time), is the latest in a series of U.S. operations against Iranian military targets. The Zioneer has previously reported on multiple nights of U.S. strikes in Iran, including CENTCOM operations against coastal defense systems, missile and drone launch sites, and naval capabilities. Iran has formally stated it will respond to continued U.S. strikes and blamed the U.S. for escalation.
