This is the second reported moderate injury of a young child in a traffic-related incident in the southern region within roughly the past 20 minutes, following a similar incident in nearby Rahat that The Zioneer reported on at 15:22. The location is Netivot, a city east of Gaza in the northern Negev. Medics from Magen David Adom provided care at the scene on Jabotinsky Street before transporting the child to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The driver remained at the scene; circumstances are under investigation.
