Civil Administration forces extracted an Israeli man who entered Ramallah overnight and was abandoned by his companion in the Palestinian city, according to N13 / Army Radio reporters. Residents identified him and alerted security forces; the case has been transferred to the Judea and Samaria District Police.
During the night, an Israeli man entered Ramallah in a friend's vehicle and was abandoned in the center of the Palestinian city. Local residents identified the Israeli wandering and alerted security forces. Civil Administration personnel extracted him. A preliminary inquiry suggests the two entered the area by car and the driver left the man behind. The case was transferred to the Judea and Samaria District Police for further handling.
The Zioneer has previously reported several rescues of Israelis who entered Palestinian Authority areas without coordination. On June 5, Civil Administration forces extracted three Israeli women who mistakenly drove into Beit Jala en route to Rachel's Tomb. On June 10, an Israeli woman who drove into Qalqilya to shop was evacuated via security coordination channels. Both incidents ended without injuries.
This is at least the third such rescue documented this month in similar circumstances—Israelis who crossed into Area A without prior arrangement and needed extraction.
