According to Amit Segal (N12), the daycare subsidy bill will not be brought to a vote in the Knesset this week. A coalition source confirmed the delay to Segal.
01 · THE DISPATCH
Amit Segal (N12) reported Monday afternoon that the daycare subsidy bill will not advance to a vote this week. The report follows a series of coalition delays on the legislation. As The Zioneer reported earlier Monday, coalition chair MK Ofir Katz told Haredi lawmakers he lacked a majority to pass the bill. Last week, United Torah Judaism threatened to block other coalition bills after the vote was postponed. The latest delay marks at least the third time the bill has been shelved in recent days. No new date has been announced.
