In a subsequent statement carried by N12, the company said it is voluntarily recalling the eggs from store shelves. Lab results received so far have been normal, the company said, but the Health Ministry directed the recall to proceed as a precaution until the investigation is complete. The recall applies to eggs currently in the distribution chain.
