The Goodman Foundation launches a program to send more than 1,600 displaced children and teens, ages 12–17 from northern and Gaza-envelope communities, to international-style summer camps. Organizers describe it as respite from a year of uncertainty and displacement, with scholarships also available for children whose homes were damaged in Iranian strikes. Registration is open via the program’s website.
The Goodman Foundation, an Israeli-Canadian philanthropic fund, announced a new summer camp initiative for more than 1,600 children and teenagers aged 12–17 from Israel's northern communities and the Gaza envelope. According to the foundation, the camps are designed as an international-style experience (outdoor activities, independence, volunteering) intended to provide respite after a year marked by displacement, uncertainty, and security challenges. The foundation also said it will grant scholarships to children whose homes were damaged by Iranian missile strikes and were forced to evacuate. Registration is available online at summercamps.co.il.
As The Zioneer previously reported (June 22, DETAILS), the Goodman Foundation had earlier expanded its summer camp support for this population; this new call adds additional places. No prior bulletin directly covers this registration drive.
