Iran's vice president and head of the funeral planning committee, Mohammad Reza Aref, said several neighboring countries have informed Tehran that over one million of their citizens wish to attend the funeral of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Aref noted Iran's limited capacity cannot accommodate all requests, and that some countries offered to cover logistics themselves.
