Jaffa school principal indicted for years of sexual abuse against teachers and students

The State Prosecutor's Office on Thursday filed an indictment against Mohammad Kabub, 43, principal of the Al-Mustaqbal School in Jaffa, accusing him of indecent acts and sexual harassment of two teachers and four students over several years, according to i24NEWS. His brother Ahmad Kabub, 47, and Ramzi Abu Talib, 57, chairman of the Ajami neighborhood charity committee and a member of the Islamic Council, were also charged with obstruction of justice and witness tampering for allegedly pressuring victims to recant and sign false affidavits, as The Zioneer reported earlier within the same thread.

Kabub faces multiple counts of sex offenses committed at the school where he served as principal. The cover-up charges against his brother and Abu Talib are based on alleged WhatsApp messages in which they coordinated efforts to pressure victims. The Islamic Council in Jaffa has held a rally in support of Abu Talib, claiming he was arrested for his efforts to promote reconciliations in the city.

The case is one of several recent high-profile sexual abuse indictments involving authority figures in educational settings, though it remains in court proceedings and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
