Pro-Israel columnist and CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss is reportedly poised to also assume editorial oversight of CNN as part of the roughly $110 billion merger in which Paramount-Skydance acquires Warner Bros. Discovery. The move is backed by businessman David Ellison, son of Oracle founder Larry Ellison, and would give Weiss oversight of both major networks simultaneously, according to reports circulating in Israeli and American media channels.
