Lod police seize pistol, pipe bomb, Kalashnikov in city operation

Lod police officers located a pistol, a pipe bomb, magazines, and a Kalashnikov rifle during an operation in the city, police reported.

The seizure is the latest in a series of weapons and contraband finds by Lod police. In recent weeks, officers have confiscated a knife, drugs, and cash (June 28), as well as 15 Molotov cocktails and two grenades during a family feud operation (June 22). The current operation yielded a pistol, a pipe bomb, magazines, and a Kalashnikov rifle. No arrests were reported in connection with the find.
