A statue of Marwan Barghouti, convicted of murdering Israelis and organizing terror attacks, was unveiled in London near the Nelson Mandela monument. Activists attempted to draw parallels between Barghouti and Mandela. The statue was removed after several hours. Barghouti is serving five life sentences for his role in Second Intifada terror attacks.
