MK Dan Illouz (Likud) issued a sharp condemnation of the sanctions imposed by Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Norway on Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich over his activities in Judea and Samaria. Illouz, a Canadian-born lawmaker, called the move a moral bankruptcy and a direct reward for terrorism, asserting Israel will continue building across the land without bowing to what he called hypocritical double standards.
