Malinovsky, who sponsored the anti-UNRWA legislation, gave the government a two-week ultimatum: if UNRWA is not evacuated from the Kfar Aqab neighborhood and Area C, she will petition the High Court against the government. She has previously accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz of deciding not to enforce the evacuation.
The anti-UNRWA laws, passed by the Knesset, mandate severing ties with the agency. Implementation has been delayed, with the compound in Kfar Aqab still operating. Malinovsky's statement comes amid ongoing legal and political pressure to enforce the laws.
