An N12 investigation by journalist Omri Maniv published Sunday evening alleges that Moti Gamish, the recently appointed director general of the Economy Ministry, actively worked to collapse a startup he had advised before his appointment, in order to take it over. According to the report, a court-appointed trustee for Visionat sent a letter to Gamish four months ago stating that during 2021–22, while serving as a consultant to the company, Gamish acted to undermine it and seize control. The trustee updated the court this week that Gamish has not responded to the accusations. Gamish, a longtime Likud activist and political appointee, was appointed director general in early 2026. The report has not yet been independently corroborated by The Zioneer. No prior reporting on this thread exists in our archive.
