TL;DR

Olya Kravchenko, who has been publicly named as a suspect in the 2006 murder of Tair Rada (a case that saw Roman Zdorov initially convicted and later acquitted), has started a TikTok account. In videos, she answers questions, saying she opened the account to gain an audience; she declined to take a polygraph and refused to say who she believes the murderer is.

01 · THE DISPATCH

Olya Kravchenko, a woman who has been publicly accused in social media and by some legal figures of involvement in the 2006 murder of 13-year-old Tair Rada, has opened a TikTok account and is posting videos in which she fields questions from viewers.

The case is one of Israel’s most controversial: Roman Zdorov was convicted of the murder in 2010, though doubts about his guilt grew over the years. In 2023 the Supreme Court acquitted him and ordered a new investigation. During that process, judges recommended that authorities examine allegations against Kravchenko — but no formal investigation has been opened against her.

In her new videos, Kravchenko says she opened the account to gain an audience. When asked whether she had taken a polygraph to answer suspicions, she said it was unnecessary. Asked who she thinks the real murderer is, she replied: “What does it matter.” The posts have stirred renewed public debate about the case. The Zioneer has not independently verified any of the accusations against Kravchenko, and no official charge has been filed.
