According to N12 crime reporter Oren Ravid, several men surrounded the undercover team during the arrest attempt, tried to pull the suspect out of the police vehicle, and attempted to drive him away. The detective, sensing a real threat to himself and his team, drew his weapon in accordance with regulations, neutralizing the danger. No casualties were reported. Police are expected to request an extension of the suspects' detention later today. The incident comes amid a broader police push against organized crime and public-order disruptions in the northern sector.
