Yevgeni Yordanov, the Israeli gymnastics coach indicted last week for sex crimes against two minors he coached in Petah Tikva, was re-arrested Tuesday after a new complaint was filed against him. According to N12, the new complaint alleges Yordanov committed serious sex offenses against another young woman when she was a minor. The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court extended his remand by five days.
As The Zioneer reported on June 14, Yordanov, 51, of Kiryat Ono, was indicted on multiple counts of sex crimes against two minors under 16, and was also accused of extorting one of them by threats. The new complaint opens a separate, additional line of investigation and allegations.
