The Israel Police's head of public affairs, who is suspected of sexual harassment, was questioned again today by the Competition Authority. The investigation is ongoing, according to i24NEWS.
This is the latest development in a widening investigation involving senior Israel Police officials. The head of the police spokesperson division is now facing a second round of questioning at the Competition Authority, following an earlier probe by the same body into an alleged improper relationship with a Mahash (Internal Police Investigations) investigator. The sexual harassment allegation adds a new dimension to the case, which first emerged with the Mahash-related inquiry. As The Zioneer reported earlier today, Chief Superintendent Lior Avudraham was questioned for seven hours on Wednesday over the earlier complaint. The current questioning appears to be separate. A source familiar with the previous probe said Avudraham denies all allegations.
