Satellite imagery from Soar Atlas taken yesterday (July 16) shows three buildings at Zayed Military City base in Abu Dhabi completely destroyed, reportedly in an Iranian strike within the past several days. The buildings were intact in imagery from July 11. The exact date of the strike remains unknown.
New satellite imagery from Soar Atlas, taken yesterday (July 16), reveals the complete destruction of three buildings at Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi, an apparent Iranian strike. The buildings were intact in imagery from July 11, indicating the strike occurred between July 12 and July 15.
As The Zioneer reported earlier today, satellite imagery from the same provider showed four U.S. hangars destroyed at Al-Dhafra airbase, also in Abu Dhabi, in a separate Iranian strike. The Zayed Military City base, located near the capital, serves as a logistics and training hub for the UAE military.
The strike on Zayed Military City suggests Iran is expanding its retaliatory campaign beyond U.S. airbases to other military installations in the UAE, following previous satellite-documented strikes on bases in Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan. The full extent of damage and any casualties at the base have not been independently confirmed.
