TL;DR

The Saudi network Al-Arabiya published what it says is the full text of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding. The document includes an immediate and permanent end to war on all fronts including Lebanon, immediate lifting of the naval blockade on Iran, full US troop withdrawal from the region within a month, a 300-billion-dollar reconstruction fund for Iran, complete lifting of all sanctions including UN and IAEA resolutions, and an Iranian commitment to never produce nuclear weapons. The document was not independently verified and the authenticity could not be confirmed, according to the report.

01 · THE DISPATCH

The Saudi-owned network Al-Arabiya published the purported full text of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding on Tuesday evening, according to Israeli journalist Amit Segal (N12), who cited the report. The leaked document, which Al-Arabiya did not attribute to an official source, contains several sweeping provisions.

According to the published text, the MOU calls for an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon. The US would immediately lift its naval blockade on Iran and prevent any interference in Iranian shipping, and would withdraw all its forces from the region within one month of a final agreement. Iran, in turn, would lift its blockade in the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days.

The document also includes a commitment by the US and its regional partners to formulate a reconstruction plan for Iran funded at a minimum of $300 billion. If a final agreement is fully implemented, the US would remove all current sanctions on Iran, including all UN and IAEA resolutions. Iran commits never to produce nuclear weapons, with the enriched uranium issue to be resolved in the final agreement. Until such an agreement, the US would permit Iran to maintain the status quo on its nuclear program. The US would also authorize the export of Iranian crude oil, including banking, insurance, and transportation services, and release all frozen Iranian funds.

As The Zioneer reported earlier Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal cited draft language that included immediate oil-export sanctions relief and banking exemptions, with an Iranian tanker openly transiting the Gulf of Oman. The authenticity of the Al-Arabiya document remains unverified by Western or Israeli officials. Israeli sources quoted anonymously earlier Tuesday said Trump's conduct is strengthening Hezbollah and legitimizing the group.
