The Knesset legal adviser has blocked Shas's Torah Study Basic Law from tomorrow's preliminary vote because it was submitted late, according to N12. Only Degel HaTorah's identical bill will go to a vote, with Shas expected to support it. A Shas source told N12 that party chairman Aryeh Deri raised the demand for the Basic Law a week and a half ago.
