The Zioneer reported the dollar crossing 3 shekels on July 2 (3.002), July 7 (3.029), July 13 (3.025), July 16 (3.005), July 21 (3.049), and reaching a three-month high of 3.061 on July 22. Tuesday's rate of 3.058 is the second-highest in that series, just below the July 22 peak.
The euro also rose, with the representative rate climbing to 3.475 shekels, the highest since July 21 (3.482).
