Simon Leviev, the so-called 'Tinder Swindler,' responded to the dropping of criminal charges against him by the Leviev family. In a statement published on social media, Leviev said he is 'so happy' that all charges are being dropped, adding that the same happened in Germany and other places. 'I move on with my life,' he said.
Earlier Thursday, as The Zioneer reported, the family of billionaire Lev Leviev agreed to withdraw the criminal complaint they filed against Leviev, who impersonated Leviev's son. The settlement was submitted to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, ending the legal proceedings initiated after the Netflix documentary 'The Tinder Swindler' brought global attention to the case.
