Internal Medicine Department B at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba has returned to its permanent location, following the completion of rehabilitation and renovation work. The department was damaged by a direct hit from an Iranian ballistic missile during Operation Rising Lion (June 2025).
Avivit Misnikov (N12) reported the update on Tuesday afternoon. The hospital previously marked the one-year anniversary of the strike in June 2026. The return of the department to its original quarters signals the restoration of routine operations at the hospital, which absorbed the direct impact of a long-range Iranian missile during the twelve-day war.
