Taiwan conducted a military exercise yesterday simulating a live-fire battle against a Chinese amphibious invasion of the island, according to the NTD Hebrew news channel. The drill involved rapid maneuvering of multiple branches and the use of the Taiwanese Thunderbolt-2000 multi-range rocket system at eight positions along a 20 km central coastal strip facing China. It was the first activation of the Thunderbolt-2000 system in seven years.
