01 · THE DISPATCH

Magen David Adom (MDA) received two separate reports of truck accidents Friday morning within approximately 25 minutes on roads in the Gilboa region.

At 06:26, emergency calls reported a collision between two trucks on Route 675 near the Yizre'el Junction. MDA medics and paramedics arrived to find a 50-year-old male truck driver trapped, unconscious, and suffering multi-system injuries. A rescue operation freed him before evacuation; he was listed in serious and stable condition on the way to Emek Medical Center in Afula. Two additional casualties from the second truck, aged 20 and 17, sustained moderate limb injuries and were evacuated by intensive care ambulances.

At 06:50, a second accident occurred on Route 65 near the Sargel Junction, involving a single overturned truck. A 21-year-old male was found in moderate condition with abdominal injuries and was evacuated to the same hospital.

MDA volunteer paramedic Aviaad Amar described the first scene: "We saw the truck driver trapped, unconscious, suffering multi-system injury. While rescue operations freed him, we provided medical treatment."

No severe road hazards or weather conditions were reported, and the cause of both incidents remains under investigation by police. The series of accidents does not appear connected.
