A wildfire north of Madrid has burned an estimated 260 square kilometers and forced the evacuation of 1,200 people, according to Israeli media reports. No casualties have been reported yet.

The fire, reported by Ynet on Monday afternoon, is the latest in a series of severe wildfires that have struck Spain this month. Earlier in July, wildfires in the northeast and south killed at least 12 people and burned tens of thousands of hectares, as The Zioneer reported.
