At 11:57 Sunday, a woman in her 30s was moderately injured in a car-truck collision on Route 383 near Tel Azeka. United Hatzalah medics provided first aid at the scene and evacuated her and a lightly injured infant to a medical center. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Route 383 is a major arterial road in the Judean foothills; earlier Sunday a separate serious accident with trapped casualties was reported on the same stretch, though there is no indication of a common cause or road hazard.
