At 03:45 Jerusalem, initial reports indicated a fatal road accident on Highway 20. Minutes later, Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed that a 19-year-old man was killed, a 20-year-old man was seriously injured, and two men aged 26 and 28 sustained moderate injuries. All were evacuated to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. Shortly after, N12 reported the accident occurred near the Glilot Junction and released operational footage from the scene. Subsequent reports specified the location as Highway 20 near the Glilot East Interchange, describing a multi-vehicle crash.
As The Zioneer reported at 07:11 Jerusalem, police detained a driver in his 20s from Netanya for questioning in connection with the chain collision. The investigation is ongoing.
