As The Zioneer reported earlier Thursday, Cohen filed a lawsuit against N12 (Channel 12 News) seeking NIS 100,000, alleging that the network falsely reported that he participated in the July break-in at the Sde Teiman detention base. In his statement, Cohen reiterated that he was not involved in the incident.
The Sde Teiman break-in occurred in late July, when protesters forcibly entered the military detention facility. Several suspects were arrested. Cohen has denied any connection to the event, and the lawsuit seeks to hold the network accountable for what he describes as a false attribution.
