Security analyst Chananel Aviv reported on Telegram early Tuesday of a fresh attack in the vicinity of Bushehr airport, Iran. The report follows an earlier strike on the same area hours earlier, according to a separate analyst.
Another unverified report of an attack near Bushehr airport surfaced early Tuesday, as security analyst Chananel Aviv posted on Telegram at 04:17 Jerusalem that a fresh strike had occurred in the area shortly before his message. The post follows earlier, separate unverified claims by security analyst Yair Goldblatt, who on Sunday, July 12 at 02:22 Jerusalem cited reports that the Bushehr airport had been the target of a prior strike, as The Zioneer reported at 02:46 Jerusalem.
That Sunday wave began with unverified reports of explosions in multiple southern Iranian cities including Bushehr, Asalouyeh, Ahvaz, and Abadan at 02:22 Jerusalem, as monitored by The Zioneer. Minutes later, Iranian state-affiliated Press TV reported explosions in Bushehr and Asluyeh. A photo attributed to a strike on a military target in Bushehr was then circulated, and Goldblatt identified the airport as the target — all before 03:00 Jerusalem. All reports remain unverified by Iranian authorities or independent sources.
As The Zioneer reported on Sunday July 12 at 11:44 Jerusalem, unverified reports also described attacks on Bahrain's airport and targets in Oman, alongside earlier explosions in Kuwait and Bahrain, placing the Bushehr reports in a wider regional context of alleged overnight strike activity.
The details of the target, method of attack, and any casualties from Aviv's new report remain unknown. Neither analyst's claim has received official confirmation.
