A couple were shot to death in their vehicle in the central Israeli city of Qalansawe early Thursday, according to Israeli media. Police said the attack is believed to be a blood feud linked to an ongoing family conflict.
A couple in their 60s were shot dead in their car on a street in Qalansawe early Thursday morning, Israeli media reported. Magen David Adom medics declared the man dead at the scene; the woman was initially reported critically wounded but later died of her injuries, according to reports from the scene. Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was a blood feud stemming from a long-running family dispute. Officers have launched an investigation and are searching for suspects. As The Zioneer earlier reported, police had previously flagged a blood-feud context in a separate shooting incident in Qalansawe earlier this morning in which a different woman was critically wounded.
