01 · THE DISPATCH

New footage published by a source operated by security analyst Chananal Aviv shows smoke rising from the Bushehr area in southern Iran. The clip emerged in the early hours of Thursday, hours after a series of unverified reports Wednesday evening described a wave of strikes across southern Iran, including a renewed attack on Bushehr.

At 23:25 Jerusalem Wednesday, The Zioneer reported a fire in Bushehr, followed by reports of additional strikes in Sirik, Bandar Abbas, and Bushehr, and then a report of a renewed attack on the city. All reports were based on a single Hebrew-language security source and were unverified. The new footage is the first visual evidence from the area, but it has not been independently verified, and the target, time of the strike, and responsible party are not specified.

Attributed background: At 00:57 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported on unverified footage showing damage at Iran's Chabahar port, also allegedly from an attack. The relationship between the two incidents, if any, is unclear.

The nature of the reported strikes, the attacking force, and any casualties remain unknown. All reports to date are unverified, and no official confirmation has been issued by Iranian authorities.
