01 · THE DISPATCH

Unverified local reports indicate a fourth round of explosions in the strategic port city of Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, as of 01:29 Jerusalem on Monday morning. This fresh report follows a sequence of blast reports that have accumulated over the past hour, including a third round reported at 01:10 and multiple earlier rounds documented since midnight.

The Zioneer has been tracking the events in Bandar Abbas throughout the night. At 00:23 Jerusalem, the desk reported the initial US strike on southern Iran, shortly followed by US military confirmation of a new wave of airstrikes. Within the same minute, reports emerged of explosions in Bandar Abbas and Kish Island, a fourth round of strikes, and a description of heavy bombing. At 00:23, a third round of explosions was also reported. At 01:10, a separate bulletin described a third round. The consistency of the reports have evolved: early accounts were based on single unverified sources, while later reports included US official confirmation and descriptions of heavy bombing. The current report of a fourth round is also unverified.

The Zioneer has previously documented a pattern of persistent explosions in southern Iran, particularly around Bandar Abbas, as reported on June 11 and June 24. A US official confirmed to Fox News on June 11 that strikes were ongoing, targeting military infrastructure. The current wave of strikes is part of a sustained campaign described by the US as aimed at degrading Iran's offensive capability.

As of this writing, the cause of the latest explosions, any casualties, and damage remain unconfirmed. Iranian authorities have not issued a statement. The reports are based on unverified local sources, and the situation remains fluid.
