The first suspect was arrested Wednesday morning, with reports linking the arsons to the cafe's Saturday operations. A second suspect, also from Betar Illit, was arrested shortly after. By 13:48 Jerusalem, police confirmed that two Betar Illit residents, aged 23 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of carrying out three arsons at the cafe on Uziel Street over recent months, causing property damage but no injuries, according to N12. A third suspect was arrested at 16:09 Jerusalem, as The Zioneer reported at that time.
The cafe, named Benedetta, operates on Saturdays and had been targeted with anonymous notes referencing its Shabbat hours, as The Zioneer reported in earlier coverage. The arsons caused damage but no injuries.
The identity of the fourth suspect and the specific charges against him have not yet been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing.
