According to the charge sheet, the suspect became agitated when refused a withdrawal without ID, cursed the clerk, was ejected, and returned with an iron bar. He smashed the front window and, when the manager came out to stop him, allegedly swung the bar at his head.
Haifa has seen a number of violent crime incidents in recent weeks.
