The ultra-Orthodox demonstration at the Abu Kabir detention compound ended after about three and a half hours, according to N12. The road was reopened to traffic.
01 · THE DISPATCH
The protest, which began earlier in the afternoon, blocked roads near the Abu Kabir compound in south Tel Aviv. Police and demonstrators had clashed during the gathering; video footage from earlier showed scuffles and one arrest. With the road now reopened and the demonstration dispersed, authorities have not reported further arrests or injuries. The demonstration is part of ongoing Haredi protests against the detention of conscription-dodging yeshiva students, a recurring flashpoint in Israeli society.
