Israel's Health and Environment Ministries have issued a warning against entering nine northern rivers and streams after abnormal water sampling results indicated pollution. The affected water bodies are: Banias, Hasbani, Jordan, Brikhat HaMeshushim (Hexagon Pool), Gilbon, Zaki, El Al, Tzalamon, and Kaziv. The advisory is immediately in effect.
The advisory, reported by N12, comes after abnormal water sampling results were found in the listed water bodies. The nine rivers and streams span the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights area. The public is advised to avoid entry until further notice.
