On June 23, Hezbollah deputy Mahmoud Qamati said the group is on full alert and will respond proportionately to any Israeli ceasefire violation. On June 16, Hezbollah issued a threat that any violation of the agreement would lead to the destruction of 'Zionist forces in Lebanon.' Mousawi's remarks also touch on the Iran dimension, which Hezbollah has long said it would respond to any Israeli attack on Iran. The current agreement between Israel and Lebanon is set to expire in August, according to the MP. The IDF has not commented on the statement.
