Derech Eretz, the highway operator, announced planned infrastructure works on Highway 6 overnight Monday-Tuesday and Tuesday-Wednesday. The northbound lanes will be closed from the Iron interchange to the Ein Tut interchange between midnight and 5:00 AM; additional ramp closures are planned at Nitzanei Oz and Beit Yanai interchanges.
Derech Eretz, the operator of Highway 6 (the Yitzhak Rabin Highway), announced overnight closures for planned infrastructure maintenance. The works are scheduled for two consecutive nights, Monday-Tuesday (July 13–14) and Tuesday-Wednesday (July 14–15), between midnight and 5:00 AM.
Tonight, the northbound lanes will be closed from the Iron interchange (Interchange 3) to the Ein Tut interchange near Wadi Ara. The entrance ramp from Road 57 to Highway 6 northbound at the Nitzanei Oz interchange will also be shut. On Tuesday night, the exit ramp from Highway 6 northbound to Road 57 at the Beit Yanai interchange will be closed.
Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes. The closures are part of routine infrastructure upgrades; no disruptions to train services or other transport modes are expected. The Zioneer has previously reported on similar overnight closures on Highway 6 and other major routes, though this is a separate planned maintenance operation.
