Southbound lanes of the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv will be closed overnight Monday and Tuesday, from 23:55 to 05:00, between KKL Interchange (Kaplan–Ruppin) and Rokach Interchange, for light-rail development on the Green Line, according to N12 traffic reporter Dean Fisher.
The southbound Ayalon Highway will be closed overnight Monday 29 June and Tuesday 30 June for Green Line light-rail works in Tel Aviv, N12 traffic reporter Dean Fisher reported this morning. The closure runs from 23:55 to 05:00 between the KKL Interchange (also known as Kaplan–Ruppin) and the Rokach Interchange. The Hebrew name 'מחלף קק״ל' corresponds to the KKL (Keren Kayemet LeYisrael) Interchange, which is the same junction sometimes rendered in English as Kaplan–Ruppin. The works are part of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area's Green Line light-rail development project. The Zioneer has previously reported on related road closures for rail development, including an overnight closure on the Ayalon for Herzliya station works (June 21), though that closure was at a different section and date.
