Israel Railways is advancing the Herzliya station expansion, which includes doubling the station and building a new western passenger hall. As The Zioneer reported earlier Sunday, the first overnight closure of the Ayalon Highway southbound was scheduled for Tuesday–Wednesday night. A new notice confirms the same section — from HaOlim Junction to Shivat HaKokhavim Junction — will be closed from 23:00 to 05:00. Drivers on Highway 20 should use alternate routes during those hours. Train service remains unaffected.
