The operative's name was not immediately disclosed. The elimination follows a series of similar operations reported by The Zioneer, including the July 31 elimination of Abd al-Rahim Kardi, a Hamas doctor-operative who also held Gonen and Marciano, and the July 3 confirmation of Muhammad Naim Jundiya's elimination for holding three hostages in a Gaza tunnel.
