Palestinian channels, cited by the Abu Ali Express outlet, report that IDF forces arrested several truck drivers at the Kerem Shalom crossing in Rafah on July 22. The detainees reportedly include Yosef Abu Raya and Mansour Qashta.
The reported arrests at Kerem Shalom crossing add to a pattern of Israeli security operations targeting individuals attempting to use the humanitarian crossing for illicit purposes. The Zioneer previously reported on a Nukhba terrorist from the October 7 attack arrested while driving an aid truck en route to the crossing, and on a separate capture of a terrorist in the Rafah area. The current report, based on Palestinian sources, has not been independently confirmed by the IDF.
