01 · THE DISPATCH

The Israeli Air Force is continuing airstrikes on multiple targets across southern Lebanon this morning, the military confirmed. Residents are once again leaving villages in response, according to security sources — mirroring displacement patterns reported in recent days. No strikes have been reported in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut at this stage. The activity is part of a sustained campaign of airstrikes on Hezbollah-linked infrastructure, which has included evacuation warnings for dozens of villages over the past week.

At 08:07 Friday, The Zioneer reported the first wave of strikes deep inside Lebanon, with a military source describing "very heavy fighting." By the same hour, the strikes had expanded to include the western Bekaa Valley, and footage from the village of Haboush was released showing one of the strikes. A previous bulletin at 08:55 Friday further confirmed the ongoing operations across multiple targets. This wave follows overnight fighter jet movements over southern Lebanon that entered a third hour at 02:35 Friday, though no strikes were reported at that time.

As The Zioneer reported earlier this week, the IDF has issued evacuation warnings for villages ahead of operations, and at least eight people were killed in a wave of strikes across southern Lebanon on Wednesday, June 10. On Tuesday, June 16, displaced residents were continuing to return southward despite a source warning they would "evacuate again." The Lebanese army has also urged residents to slow their return, citing Israeli aerial surveillance.

Casualty figures from today's operations have not yet been reported.
